Our History:
In 1996, brothers Keith and Jeff Newhouse saw a need for someone to perform small trenching jobs. Soon after, JK Trenching was born. In the early years, it was an evening and weekend gig for the brothers. As business demands increased, Keith decided to give up his full-time job to concentrate on trenching full time.
In 2016, after dabbling with several small agricultural drainage jobs and field tile repairs, our clients were asking us to increase our drainage capabilities. Since the brothers grew up farming and developing lifelong drainage experience, they decided to go ahead and take a big step into full farm drainage services.
With that decision came the purchase of a Link-Belt excavator, an Inter-Drain tile plow and GPS guidance system. Jeff decided to go full-time into the business, and the next level of JK Trenching unfolded.
